The DeJong attractor rings

In the mathematical field of dynamical systems or chaotic maps, an attractor is a set of states towards which a system tends to evolve over time. De Jong is a particularly beautiful one. Slight changes in the values can produce very different results.

I’ve been wanting to do this for a few years now, and finally got my head around it and managed to get it into a ring form… I’m thinking about making some new fine art prints with some of them.
